VITRODODI INT.CO.SPA, established in 1927, since 1980, in its factory in Settimo Milanese, has been producing horizontal and vertical washing machines, lines for insulating and laminated glass, straight line edgers and for shaped glass, straight line bevellers and for shaped glass, machines and lines for silvering, besides several portable machines and tools of the VITRO TOOLS-TOYO line.

All of the Technical Dept.’s resources in the last years have been concentrated on the MODULO ONE washer, representing today, in the several available versions, the most suitable answer to every requirement of washing and drying for every processing of sheet glass, from tempered to laminated, from insulating to silk-screen printed, from acid etched to coated, from silvered to simply ground.

Standard widths range from 1300 mm to 3300 mm, and working speeds up to 15 meters/minute can be reached.
Automatic systems to detect coated surfaces, adjusting brushes accordingly, have been introduced.

There are safety systems both for L.E. glass and for possible mistakes of thickness positioning.
The MODULO ONEs can be lifted to wash different thicknesses and for maintenance, automatically both with jacks and with pneumatic pistons; failing these options, all washing sections can be overturned to 90° for maintenance on all the standard machines.

Recycling tanks are fitted on wheels, and can be easily pulled out laterally.

The machine is easily accessible from any side for ordinary maintenance, thanks to a series of small doors avoiding the removal of protecting crankcases.
The use of stainless steel for all parts in contact with water is standard on all machines, but customers more and more demand machines with stainless steel crankcases, and also totally stainless steel made machines.
Finally, but esssential, the conception of MODULO ONE washers is based on the total modularity carried out through the coupling of more sections whose rolls are driven by worm-screw with gears ( there are no drive chains), with quick couplings.

This allows us to be extremely flexible in our offer of versions, but also enables our customers to enhance the capacity of their own washer by adding further sections along with time.
