REXI Tempered Glass is made by heating flat glass to just below its softening temperature (650°C) and suddenly chilling it with jets of cold air. It results in the outer skins under powerful compressive stress and the interior with severe tensile stress. In consequence, the impact applied to the glass will be overcome by the compressive stress on the surfaces to assure safety of use. It is ideal for areas with high wind loads and areas where human contacts are an important consideration.

APPLICATIONS:

REXI Laminated Glass is made by good quality adhesive interlayer and advanced bond technology. Laminated Glass is a kind of glass made of two or more sheets of top quality glass bonded together with a polyvinylbutyral (PVB) interlayer. After the PVB interlayer has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. This makes the complete adhesion of the vinyl and the glass. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain bonded to the plastic interlayer.

ADVANTAGES:

- High safety: if cracks, splinters will adhere to the interlayer and not scatter, keeps away the injuring.

REXI Insulated Glass is made of two or more pieces of glass with effective support and evenly spaced and sealed at the periphery to form a dry gas space between the glass interlayers. The interlayer of the insulated glass is initially dry air, and other gases with a lower thermal conductivity than air are currently used. The minimum thickness of the gas interlayer of the insulating glass should not be less than 6mm, otherwise it will not function as thermal insulation. However, the thickness should not be too large, if it is too large to make the insulated glass too thick. In order to standardize the production of the frame, the gaps of the insulated glass are currently divided into 6, 9, and 12, 14, and 16 mm.

REXI bird friendly glass offer a series of specifically ceramic fritted patterns on the glass surface, it can be combined with high-performance low e coatings to provide thermal insulation and solar control properties to the glazing. These coatings help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature by reducing the amount of solar energy entering through the glazing in the summer, and minimizing heat loss during the winter.

ECOLOGICAL PROTECTION
REXI bird safe glass offers a visible pattern that is translucent rather than opaque. It is applied on surface 1 with a low-E coating on surface 2 for optimal performance results and it help deter bird-building collisions.

REXI birds safe friendly glass made in China has got an American Bird Conservancy (ABC) Threat Factor (TF) of 17.  The glass exceeds the ABC’s minimum standard for effective collision deterrent materials of TF 30.  ABC uses Threat Factors to indicate the relative ability of materials to reduce collisions.  Products with lower TFs are considered more effective at preventing collisions.
