A new glass installation waiting to be revealed

Date: 26 February 2016

Over a 3 year period, Nathan Allan provided a substantial number of large, kiln formed textured glass panels to Lakeview Glass, for the Shellcreek project in Houston TX.  Panels ranged in sizes up to 5’6 wide x 11’0 high.

Glass panels were 1/2″ thick tempered safety glass, with our Cascade XL pattern, produced with a horizontal direction.

Oversized molds were created to accommodate the over height, custom sized panels. Part of Nathan Allan’s high end designer appeal, is our ability and versatility to produce the largest kiln formed glass panels in our industry. We are the only kiln formed cast glass manufacturer who has successfully produced such a large amount of handmade, oversized, cast glass panels. To complement our successful production, every panel arrived on site, unbroken, and ready to install.

Lakeview installers handled and installed these 400 lb panels, one after another, with professionalism and expertise. With well over 100 very large Cascade XL panels to be installed, not a single panel was broken during installation. Incredible performance by Lakeview Glass!!!
