Roland Garros is the most prestigious clay court tennis championship tournament in the world, held in Paris, France. The Stade Roland Garros complex has served as the main tournament venue since 1928, with its court seeing the best tennis players in history.
With a capacity of more than 15,000 spectators, the central Court Philippe-Chatrier –where the championship final is held– has seen its share of epic matches that will be remembered by all lovers of good tennis.
The latest renovation of this iconic tennis venue began in 2017 and ended in 2020. It included the installation of glass balustrades within the stands and access stairs.
