Vistawall: FG-5000 Hurricane Impact System

FG-5000 is a 2 1/2 ” x 5”, single-glazed store front system tested with water-resistant entrance doors to fully comply with the stringent requirements of Miami/Dade County Protocol 201, 202, 203 and Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI).

Vistawall has taken hurricane-resistant products to the next level by developing a system that can be fully assembled and glazed in the shop or in the field, prior to anchor inspection, ensuring faster installation.

The FG-5000 was tested with 84” x 96”

Vistawall water-resistant entrances. The entrances are available as a single or pair and the hardware includes stainless steel NRP ball-bearing butt hinges, Adams Rite three-point hook-bolt lock, Vistawall standard push/pull (PH-10/PB-11) metal tip-flush bolts on an inactive leaf.

FG-5000 utilizes screw spline assembly, it fabricated with EZ Punch TM hydraulic punch can be pre-assembled and pre-glazed. With FG-5000 there is no mullion or jamb anchoring required, and the steel reinforcing is anchored at only the head and sill.
