Folienwerk Wolfen GmbH has been one of the leading companies in the field of coextruded films since 1991.
Since the foundation of the company, our machinery has been expanded from one line to 8 machines. Each machine is suitable for the production of films for various special applications.
In 2008 we decided to concentrate on the market of EVA films as well. Initially, there was a market development in the area of photovoltaics.
Market-expanding innovations then opened up further fields such as applications in safety glass, sound insulation or the lamination of highly sensitive intermediate layers such as carbon fibres, marble and much more.
Through the combination with an extra modified special polyester film, which is highly impact resistant, it is also possible to produce burglar-resistant glass with higher security standards.
Laminated glass with our evguard® laminating film is certified and tested worldwide by various testing institutions, such as DiBT (AbZ), and can therefore withstand the highest security requirements in public buildings both indoors and outdoors.
