Dow broadens range of high-performance sealants to create a more holistic facade offering.

Dow will exhibit at Glasstec 2024, Düsseldorf, October 22-25, and invites you to meet our team in Hall 11, Booth #B70, where we will present an expanded range of organic technologies to address the performance, productivity and quality needs of the facade and window segments. The new materials complement our highly successful portfolio of structural glazing, insulating glass, weatherproofing and fire safety bonding options for building facades.

Highlights

Dow will spotlight the following technology sealant options that address key needs in facade applications:

  • DOWSIL™ 336 Soft Butyl Sealant, for primary sealing of insulating glass units manufactured with flexible spacers. 
  • DOWSIL™ 250 Polysulfide Insulating Glass Sealant for secondary edge sealing 
  • DOWSIL™ 993 Structural Glazing Repair Kit for factory and on-site bonding 
  • DOWSIL™ 375 Construction & Glass Embedding for securing frameless glass balustrades
  • DOWSIL™ PanelFix System, now approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt)

Dow’s carbon-neutral silicones service for structural glazing, insulating glass and weather sealing projects for high-performance facades will also be featured.

Live dialogues

We will be featuring four live dialogue sessions at the Dow booth, where Dow’s experienced specialists will discuss the hot topics of glasstec. Two dialogues will take place daily on October 23 and 24 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, titled “Silicones & their role in sustainability explained” and “Expanded technologies & advanced engineering expertise.”
