EVERLAM presents EVERLAMTM COOL — its new high-performance PVB film for use in laminated glass, which provides high protection against infra-red light.

Glasstec 2018, Hall 10, stand B38

EVERLAM™ COOL is a new generation of high-performance PVB film using nanoparticles technology, designed to give laminated safety glass more efficient solar heat control properties. It is unique in that it combines an excellent protection against infra-red radiation with the advantage of allowing light in while preserving the natural colors of what we can see through the glass. No compromise needed!

EVERLAMTM COOL enables a customizable solar heat gain coefficient as low as 0.3, absolute color neutrality, low haze, no reflection of visible light as well as significant and sustainable energy savings during lamination.

Harald Hammer, EVERLAM CEO, commented: “Climate changes causing temperatures to rise everywhere make EVERLAMTM COOL very topical. We are proud to be able to present this new product and test it with our customers at Glasstec. Their feedback will enable us to refine it. We expect it to be a great market success.”

Patrick Etesse, Technology Director, said: “EVERLAM™ COOL is the result of our active R&D programme. I’m particularly proud of the technical performances we achieved — in terms of visible light transmission, solar heat gain coefficient and colour neutrality of the glass — which outperform similar products on the market. EVERLAM™ COOL is a long lasting, performing material.”
