This is all made possible by the launch of Coater7, our new jumbo MSVD coater at our plant in Wichita Falls, Texas. A dramatic leap in glass coating technology, Coater7 expands our coating capabilities not only today but also well into the future. In the coming years, you can expect newer, more advanced glass coatings, and in 2019, even larger coated glass sizes.
Before specifying large insulating glass units (IGUs), consider their impact on the fabrication-installation chain. They require specialized glass processing equipment, such as tempering ovens, as well as specialized handling equipment to account for the added weight and size.
