FG Glass brought its imagination to life with the collaboration of Tecglass technology.

FG Glass is one of the largest glass processing companies in India, producing glass for architectural use. With products including DigitectureTM (a digital-printing product line with unlimited design options) in partnership with Spain’s Tecglass, there was no doubt that printed glass was the right choice to bring their ideas to life.

The core idea of the project was to create a building as an extension of the environment, an integration of the facade with the trees surrounding the block. The facade was designed to deliver a unique atmosphere while engaging this building in the heart of its surroundings.

As an initial project step, the design group created an enormous graphic tree with the idea of recreating a natural environment, without forgetting the need for energy-efficient design according to industry parameters.

The colour intensity exclusive to Jetver Ultra inks, particularly in bright colours and the most diverse shades of red, yellow and orange, makes it easy to achieve the exact effects desired. Given their extremely high resistance to the effects of wear, abrasion, UV radiation and climatic stress, Jetver Ultra inks were the perfect choice for this kind of application on surface 2 of the facade.

Tecglass rendering software was used to create the ideal combination of colours and get an accurate result. A key factor for achieving such an amazing creation was the ability to work with Tecglass tiling software, using a single file to create the composition needed to fit the project surfaces exactly and easily scale up the design to the façade.
