Now, after more than a decade away, Keller has returned to Kalwall as Sales Representative for southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
“There is a lot of pride in what has come before me and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to the legacy that my grandfather began over 60 years ago,” says Keller, a grandson of Kalwall founder Robert R. Keller.
Michael Keller, a graduate of St. Lawrence University, spent 10 years with Kalwall in a variety of roles, including drafting, engineering, programing and sales support. Those early days are serving him well in his current role working with architects, contractors and owners.
“That time allowed me to learn our product line thoroughly,” Keller says. “I understand that Kalwall holds a strong position in the building market. The appeal is its unique qualities of an energy-efficient, high-performance solution for even the most challenging light transmitting applications.”
Keller has lived in the Philadelphia area for the past 15 years, spending time in real estate and as a sales rep for Autodesk, which produces AutoCAD, the computer-aided design and drafting software popular with architects and used by Kalwall’s design team.
“There is a great symmetry with the professional experiences I have accumulated,” Keller says. “I am well-versed in the region, the architects and the Kalwall product. This is a good fit.”
Jim Andrus, Kalwall’s Vice President Sales North America, says Keller’s addition “continues to strengthen our position in a sizable market.”
