LandGlass Unveils a New Chapter in the Global Development of Vacuum Insulated Glass

On July 26, 2018, the first edition of the “International Vacuum Insulated Glass Technology Seminar” hosted by Luoyang LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd and organized by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, was officially held in Passive House Experience Center of Qingdao Sino-German Eco-Park.

As a leading enterprise in the tempered vacuum glass and flexible metal sealing applications, professionals from LandGlass as well as over 200 academics from the enterprises, associations, research institutes, etc. of varying countries around the globe were cordially invited to participate in this event.

The seminar has succeeded in attracting huge focus and media coverage in the glass and energy-saving material industries, and eventually became a grand occasion in the developmental milestone of vacuum insulated glass in China. 

During this seminar, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association’s Standing Committee Vice Chairman, Mr. Zhang Baiheng, initiated the thematic speech of “Strengthening International Exchange, Driving Energy-Saving and Reduction of Carbon Footprints”, citing the important significance of the research and development of vacuum glass and industrialization toward global climate change, the building of green initiatives as well as sustainable development of the society.

And most importantly, the metallic sealing materials used do not contain any heavy metallic lead. The materials are RoHS certified and they can be used in the tempered vacuum glass products for high-end home appliances.

Together with the flexible metal sealing technology, the thematic report of the “Tempered Vacuum Glass Industrialization Process Control” delivered by LandGlass Technical Director Mr. Li Yanbing has also garnered intensive attention and high level of recognition from the professional panels, becoming the main headlines of this seminar.
