Hytech Glass passes part 3

Hytech Glass Limited, manufacturer of Hy-THERM energy efficient double glazed units has now passed EN1279 part 3 for gas filled sealed units.

This pass has been achieved with Argon gas filled dual sealed units made using Aluminium spacer and HB Fuller hot melt sealant.  Michael Welsh, managing director of Hytech Glass says: “We have been trading for over 20 years and recent years have seen the business grow from strength to strength.With significant investment in the premises, staff and machinery, part 3 was the next step.

“EN1279 part 3 Accreditation wasn’t an easy process, so when we achieved our result with over 90% gas retention, we were delighted. Not only because it secures additional business today, but because gas-filled units are a big part of tomorrow’s market, and we’re ready for it.”
