Inside its pavilion For.El. will guide you step by step through its innovation and technology demonstrating what is at the heart of its culture.
Centre stage will be the Automatic SuperSpacer® Applicator a machine that applies SuperSpacer® to the peripheral edge of the glass in a continuous stream. The spacer is fed from a bobbin that is mounted directly onto the applicator head, this allows for the accurate and effective positioning of the SuperSpacer® delivering superior consistent results especially at the corners. A feature of this machine is to process shaped glass with incredible efficiency via its onboard shape library (optional). Further downstream there will be the Hot Melt Automatic Sealing Machine, another machine in the IG line that deserves attention for the manufacturing quality and the technology utilised, combined with the innovative sealant application system, which brings to a superior finished insulating glass.
Among the new items, For.El. Semiautomatic Edge Breaking Machine can be noted. This device is essential to complete the cutting operation carried out by the For.El. Vertical Cutting Table as it achieves the cutting of strips from pre-etched sheets of laminated glass measuring less than 110mm, guaranteeing precision, functionality and safety.
The exposition will not, however, be lacking the products that have spread For.El.s name worldwide, such as the Automatic Vertical Cutting Line for laminated glass. The great advantage offered by this system is in the lines verticality, fundamental characteristic to minimise the working area and in the uniformity of glass and PVB work processes. By using also the second cutting bridge, the process is optimised and speeds up, and maximum quality of the work process is guaranteed throughout.
Another significant For.El.s innovation is the Automatic Butyl Rubber Extrusion Plant. Doing well with its level of technology, the machine applies a small seam of butyl-rubber on the spacer frame using a unique system.
Finally, another top device is the Automatic Arrissing Machine, one of latest creation of For.El. that has had and is still having continuous improvements, or even revolutions. Its prototype was presented in Milan in 2003 and here it is at Vitrum 2005 in an even more innovative version. In two years it has achieved the best performance, both in terms of smoothed edges finish and speed of execution.
It is precisely this continuous improvement that is the For.El. basis production policy. The improvements and updates that re constantly implemented are the small but effective steps that an always evolving reality such as For.El. carries out to guarantee ever higher product quality.
Aiming high is a must, For.El. has already been doing so for thirty years.
