The Emily Wilding Davison building, the new Royal Holloway University library is making strides in reaching completion and officially opening.

This week saw the project have many finishing touches put in place, but most noticeably, the large glazing that overlooks the main entrance to the library. Specialist glass installation machinery was used for the incline gradient to be achieved, forming a striking final picture.

The finished project encompasses a library, shops, café, Student Services Centre, research centre and even a bank – elevating the student experience at Royal Holloway to a new level.

The completion of the library will be in line with the start of the new academic term, allowing students to use the new state of the art facilities at their disposal.
