FENESTRATION BAU China (FBC) is growing: The most important meeting point for the Asian construction industry will be even bigger this year, underlining its importance for the Asian market.

Both the exhibition space and the number of exhibitors are increasing significantly. The extensive supporting program, including the BAU Congress China, Fenestration Days China and Future Building Forums, will also highlight what is moving the industry today and tomorrow. The exhibition will take place at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC) in Beijing from October 31 to November 3.

The dynamic development of the Asian construction market is reflected at FBC: four weeks before the start of the exhibition, the available exhibition space has been fully booked. The exhibition areas Prefabrication Materials & Green Building and Energy Efficient & Smart Solutions including the associated forums are this year’s new additions.

FBC is thereby reacting to key issues in the Asian construction industry and positions itself as a driving force for the Far East. Matthias Strauss, Exhibition Director Messe München, is pleased: “For us, this growth represents a confirmation that the trade fair concept is targeted correctly and that the integration of the new segments has been well received by the exhibitors.”

A total of about 650 exhibitors have already registered, an increase over the previous event. Emily Zhang, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FBC, says: “We have received registrations from national and international market leaders including BIMobject, Hörman, Jung, Kaldewei, Kin Long, Obermayer and Schüco.” FBC thus offers a very good overview of the market and promotes the exchange between manufacturers on the one hand and project developers, architects, planners and distributors on the other.

FBC celebrated its premiere in Shanghai in 2017. It takes place on an annually rotating basis with Beijing. At NCIEC in Beijing, FBC also occupies eight halls. Thereby, all the halls at the trade fair are fully booked. The structuring of the exhibition areas according to subject areas ensures easy navigation of the large site.

Visitors will find the heart of FBC—Windows, Doors and Facades—in the four halls W1 to W4. In halls E1 to E4, visitors can get information about solutions from the new exhibition areas Prefabrication Materials & Green Building and Energy Efficient & Smart Solutions as well as about Building Chemistry or Construction Tools.

In addition to the exhibitors showcasing their products and innovations tailored to the needs of the Chinese market, FBC visitors can also look forward to a unique supporting program that provides information on the latest trends and developments in the market. Among other items, it includes BAU Congress China (BCC), the Fenestration Days China and the Future Building Forums.

A strong partner: A new cooperation agreement with the Architectural Society of China

Messe München and MMU BAU Fenestration Co. Ltd. have jointly closed a cooperation agreement with the Architectural Society of China (ASC). The common goal is to further develop the Chinese construction industry, making it strong for the future and providing it with an international focus.

The agreement is intended to make the best possible use of synergies and provide new impetus for the industry. The ASC will be represented at FBC with its own exhibition space and will provide information on the latest topics of the local industry.

Exhibition participation for visitors

Visitors can register in advance, either online or at the exhibition grounds. Access to forums, BCC and other events is included in the trade fair admission (except Fenestration Days China).

FBC has already recorded a significant increase in pre-registration (national and international) compared to the previous year. In addition, numerous delegations, as for instance from Germany, India, Indonesia, Korea, Austria and Vietnam, as well as government representatives have already announced their attendance.
