Wintech is excited to announce that it will offer third party certification for the Performance of Curtain Walling and Rainscreen Cladding products.

We have developed a new WinMark certification scheme which can be used as a route to demonstrate compliance with the current 2017 NHBC standard section 6.9.

The scheme will be launched in summer 2017 and will be available throughout the UK and Europe to organisations specialising in the fabrication of curtain walling, brickslip cladding and rainscreen systems. The scheme will complement the existing services at our test centre, with its established name throughout the façade and building envelope sector.

What are the benefits of product certification?

Certification helps to provide all interested parties with confidence in your organisation and it offers assurance that your product and Factory Production Control (FPC) system have been independently assessed.

You can use our WinMark certification scheme to help provide your customers with greater certainty that the products they are purchasing will offer the performance they expect.

What is the scheme about?

The certification scheme provides an independent evaluation of the following:

  • A product design review to demonstrate that your product complies with the minimum requirements of NHBC section 6.9.
  • A top level review of the Building Regulations key requirements to help establish that your products can effectively contribute.
  • An onsite FPC audit of your site to establish that adequate control is applied to the manufacturing processes of your product.

Register your interest now by emailing our Certification Manager, Mark Swanborough at mswan@wintechtesting.com, alternatively please get in touch by calling 01952 586580.
