One of Europe’s leading suppliers of high-performance steel glazing systems is to supply its systems to a company in Australia, underlining the increasingly global nature of this specialist market.

Wrightstyle, based in the UK, will now export its systems to Smoke Control, Sydney, to supply its internal and external steel glazing systems for the expanding Australasian markets, with Smoke Control staff undergoing specialist training at Wrightstyle’s Devizes fabrication centre.“We believe in architecture without compromise, and our systems allow architects to design buildings that make full use of glass and light, but which are also completely protected against fire, said Simon Bennett, international sales director, Wrightstyle.  “Giving architects freedom of expression is as relevant in Australasia as it is anywhere else.”Smoke Control was formed to provide a range of smoke and fire curtains to meet the performance based design environment, and the agreement with Wrightstyle now extends their protective ranges across a full range of fire resistant glazed systems.Wrightstyle, which has test accreditation in Europe, the Far East and USA, supplies its systems worldwide – for example, recently completing contracts for an iconic new chapel for the US Marine Corps in the USA, for a FIFA World Cup stadium in South Africa, and for the Dubai Metro.  In recent years, Wrightstyle has also provided systems in both Australia and New Zealand, for both commercial and residential applications, and the supply agreement with Smoke Control gives the company a solid platform to further develop local and regional markets. “Our systems take compromise from the architectural equation, giving designers the freedom to build buildings that make full use of their design vision – a key advantage for us in what is now a truly international market,” said Tim Kempster, managing director, Wrightstyle. “This agreement in Australasia is an endorsement of our specialist systems’ superior performance, and Smoke Control is a prestigious and ideal company to be working with,” he said. You can visit the companies at www.smokecontrol.com.au and www.wrightstyle.co.ukEndsPicture Caption:  Brendan Lawry, a Fabrication Technician from Smoke Control, is training with Wrightstyle."MsoNormal">For further information, images, logos etc, please contact:
