Sparklike Online™ allows IG-line integrated and non-destructive measurement of argon concentration for triple and double glazed insulating glass units, also through coatings and laminated glasses. The first installation of this innovative system has already been finalized, the client is Glaseksperten A/S from Denmark.
Sparklike Online™ has been installed and integrated into a state-of-the-art IG line in Denmark. Glaseksperten A/S wanted to have a full controlled system to maintain and monitor their quality. Understandably so, since they have over 25 years’ experience in glass processing and a vast quality conscious clientele, which is both national and international. THE BRIGHT FUTURE OF SPARKLIKE ONLINE™
The great interest towards Sparklike's newest innovation is easy to understand, since Sparklike Online™ gives the opportunity to IG-manufacturers worldwide to control the proper functioning of the gas press in an automated way. Similar installations have already been realised with Sparklike Laser™ measuring components, but now everything is available ready-made, including installation, commissioning and training.
Furthermore, the measurement system's dimensions and speed are compatible with all kinds of IG-lines and the level of integration can be adapted based on the customer’s needs and product line requirements.
Mike Burk, Sparklike North American Technical Representative, talks to GlassOnline about Sparklike Online™
"We were deeply happy to notice the high interest shown towards us and our offering already in Glasstec 2018, where this innovative system was first introduced. Therefore, we are now particularly excited to be able to display Sparklike Online™ also at this year's GPD event," says Mauri Saksala, Line Integrated Solutions Director.
"GPD 2019 presents an excellent platform for us at Sparklike to strengthen our position as the developer and manufacturer of world's first and only non-destructive argon analyzers. Most importantly, we are truly looking forward to different ways in which our new IG-line integrated turnkey system can enhance the current quality control procedures," Mr. Saksala continues.
