Quanex to Showcase Leading IG, Window and Door Systems at Fenestration Australia 2012

Date: 14 August 2012

Quanex Building Products announced today that it will exhibit at Fenestration Australia 2012, August 13-15, in Fremantle, Western Australia, Booth #26.

While show attendees may recognize the familiar Super Spacer® product line, this will be the first time the full breadth of high performance fenestration products will be introduced under the Quanex name in Australia. Quanex will unveil the EnergyCoreTM and MikronWoodTM window and door systems for the Australian market.

“Because the Australian fenestration industry is advocating for greater thermal performance, attendees will appreciate our high performing warm-edge spacer and our window and door systems,” said Ramsey Bader, Director, international sales and marketing, Engineered Products Group for Quanex. “As the Australian market demand increases for energy-efficient windows, doors and insulated glass units, Quanex is prepared to help support customers with products that are proven in the global marketplace to provide optimal thermal and production efficiencies.”

Similar to the ENERGY STAR® rating system, Australia follows it own Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS) in accordance with the Australian Fenestration Rating Council (AFRC), providing manufacturers, designers, consumers with products that meet desired performance specifications. This 10-star rating system also gives specific ratings for various zones within Australia.

“In addition to our energy saving products, we offer our customers the support they need to succeed and grow, including comprehensive technical services and planning for fabricators, as well as wide ranging marketing programs,” Bader said.
