This oversized, extra-thick, and ultra-heavy glass facade resembles a giant silver screen, combining stunning aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. The one-way perspective and highly reflective glass make the building sparkle uniquely and brilliantly.
Unmatched Scale and Precision
The facade consists of 31 glass panels, with the largest on the south side reaching 18.3 meters in height, 3 meters in width, and 8.8 tons in weight. These five-layer laminated insulating glass panels achieve industry-leading standards in size, coating, and layering. The north side features panels up to 12 meters tall, while the entrance includes 8-layer, 126 mm-thick glass ribs. A 20-meter-long, 6-meter-wide glass corridor connects the R&D building to the factory, exemplifying the sophistication of this project.
Advanced Glass Processing Technology
NorthGlass utilized its latest tempering furnace technology to address challenges in processing super-large glass. Innovations include precise temperature distribution, improved heating controls, and intelligent cooling algorithms, ensuring flawless quality with reduced wind and stress spots.
High-Reflection Bright Silver Coating
NorthGlass developed high-reflection bright silver coatings and ultra-large, unidirectional perspective coating products up to 24 meters. These advancements enhance interior privacy while delivering high light transmittance, creating a seamless, mirror-like visual effect in the lobby and first-floor office areas.
Innovative Structural Design
The installation features a spring-bearing pedestal connection that minimizes deformation under wind load, ensuring durability and adaptability. This marks NorthGlass’ second major super-large glass project, following the 19-meter self-supporting polygonal glass at the Culture and Art Center of Anji's "Two Mountains" Future Science and Technology City.
Global Reach and Vision
As a leader in tempering equipment and ultra-large glass solutions, NorthGlass supplies world-renowned buildings across 110+ countries, including the US, Germany, the UK, and France. Spanning 510 acres, the High-End Equipment Industrial Park is a key provincial project focused on R&D and manufacturing of advanced glass processing equipment, automated production lines, and innovative products.
Once completed, the curtain wall installation will showcase NorthGlass’ exceptional innovation and craftsmanship, earning admiration from customers worldwide.
