On February 21st and 22nd, 2025, NorthGlass held its managers' conference in Shanghai under the theme "Three Decades of Commitment, Moving Forward to a Shared Future."

The event coincided with NorthGlass’ 30th anniversary, bringing together over 50 senior executives to discuss development strategies. Attendees included Mr. Gao Xueming, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Gao Li, Vice Chairman and President; Mr. Gao Qi, Vice President; general managers of business units; and heads of functional departments.

During the conference, functional departments and business units reported on their achievements over the past year and outlined future development plans. Heads of each functional department presented analyses on operational performance, optimization proposals, internal control and compliance risk management, progress in industrial park construction, workplace safety, share issuance updates, human resources development, performance management, and brand-building initiatives. Managers from each business unit discussed market trends, expansion strategies, and product innovation, demonstrating the company’s agile strategic execution in adapting to market dynamics.

Following these reports, President Gao Li outlined specific requirements for business units and functional departments. He emphasized the need to strengthen innovation, enhance market competitiveness, and improve both product quality and production efficiency. He highlighted that differentiated product development and optimized production processes would solidify NorthGlass’ leading position in a competitive market. Additionally, he stressed the importance of team collaboration and management refinement as key drivers for sustainable growth. Moving forward, the company will focus on talent development, management optimization, and external recruitment to ensure high-quality growth.

Attendees also reviewed progress on the NorthGlass High-End Equipment Industrial Park through detailed presentations. Once operational, the park will bolster intelligent manufacturing capabilities, drive technological innovation, and support global market expansion.

In his closing remarks, Chairman Gao Xueming commended managers for their efforts over the past year. Addressing innovation, he underscored the importance of balancing breakthrough initiatives with prudent decision-making: "Innovation is not about chasing novelty but finding equilibrium between bold exploration and stability. We must pioneer new markets while avoiding impulsive trends." He outlined four key directives for managers:

  • Sustain innovation to achieve breakthroughs in technology, products, and management.
  • Make precise decisions by balancing persistence and flexibility.
  • Strengthen team-building by nurturing young talent and fostering growth opportunities.
  • Enhance corporate culture to boost cohesion and create a harmonious workplace.

The Chairman concluded by emphasizing that future success hinges on innovation, team-building, and cultural development, urging excellence in every aspect to achieve greater milestones.

This conference laid a solid foundation for NorthGlass’ future. Over the past 30 years, the company has led the industry in tempered glass equipment and ranked among global leaders in architectural glass. Despite global economic challenges and intensified competition, NorthGlass has maintained steady growth through innovation, quality, and brand strength. Looking ahead, the company will prioritize product differentiation and cost control, aiming for transformative growth within the next five years.
