The North American Contractor Certification (NACC) program is pleased to announce that National Glass and Metal Company Inc., of Horsham, PA has completed the process of NACC certification.

The NACC program is an ANSI accredited 3rd party process that was built for the architectural glass and metal installation community.

National Glass and Metal is one of the largest and well respected contract glaziers in the Philadelphia area, working with world-renowned architects and participating in the design, manufacture, and installation of high performance glass and metal systems on some of the most innovative buildings ever conceived.

Notable projects include the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Citizen’s Bank Park and the Wells Fargo Center, as well as high-end retail custom storefronts throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Founded in 1971, National Glass and Metal has seen the architectural glass and metal industry evolve over the last 5 decades, as the exterior façade has become one of the most complex and critical components of any building. Realizing the value of a certification recognition, they entered into the NACC process with an open mind and saw the rewards from it.

“Achieving NACC certification has been an enlightening and rewarding experience.  It has caused us to examine all of our policies and procedures, and our company will be better for it.  The certification process has reinforced our commitment to continuous quality improvement. It was a pleasure to work with the NACC team through the audit process, and we look forward to sharing the news with our staff and clients,” said Joseph Clabbers, President of National Glass.

The NACC program consists of several requirements intended to give building owners, general contractors, design professionals, and other stakeholder’s confidence that the glass and aluminum installation process will be performed to meet the needs of the project.

“We are excited to see National Glass complete the certification process.  They have always represented the industry well and now have the certification to back it,” said Jeff Dalaba, NACC Program Manager.  “This program continues to grow and we continue to see more and more organizations realizing the value internally and externally to certification.”

The NACC program launched in 2015 and is available to architectural glass and metal companies from all over North America.  For more information on the NACC please visit www.NACCProgram.com
