Morley Glass & Glazing Ltd at Bruntcliffe Way in Leeds has recently loaded its new £1 million premises with new equipment to manufacture its highest quality insulated glass (IG) sealed units with Kommerling 2-part Polysulphide Sealant from Thermoseal Group.
As one of the Region’s largest glass merchants and manufacturers of IG units, Morley Glass has seen 30% year-on-year growth due to the focus on quality, customer service and its dedication to staff.
Morley Glass’ Managing Director, Ian Short told us:
“We decided to change to a 2-part Polysulphide sealant to meet Kite Mark approval for our customers. Our main proviso in our choice of sealant was an established industry-leading brand delivered by a reliable supplier.
Our new building gave us the space for a range of additional IG manufacturing equipment from Best Makina, which includes: a complete production line with Robot Gun; 2 spacer saws; 2 PIB machines; a static mixing machine and a new 2-part machine for use with Kommerling GD116 Polysulphide supplied by Thermoseal Group.”
Ian continues: “We only work with the best suppliers and have been really impressed with the commitment and support we have received from Best Makina in setting our equipment up to work with our chosen IG components. And because of their commitment, we will now showcase their machinery for other UK manufacturers to view.
“Following the testing of Kommerling GD116 in their 2-part machinery, Best Makina engineers were impressed with how great the sealant is and how well it runs through their machinery, so much so that they are now recommending this brand to other customers.
“We chose to purchase our sealant from Thermoseal Group to guarantee the reliable delivery of a premium product from a leading UK supplier who has a friendly, supportive and dedicated approach to meeting our business needs.”
