dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa, the leading international exhibition and publishing company, has announced that the 2018 edition of the Windows, Doors & Facades (WDF) event will take place from 23 – 25 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

· Fire safety and smart design top priority for GGC windows, doors facades industry

· Rise in infrastructure-related activities in GCC expected to fuel demand

· More than 160 exhibitors to showcase latest product innovations at Windows, Doors & Facades Event 2018 in Dubai

The three-day event will connect more than 7,000 industry professionals and suppliers from 15 visiting countries with more than 160 exhibiting companies showcasing thousands of exciting new innovations and product launches.

The GCC windows, doors and facades industry is anticipated to experience bullish growth up to 2024 (the windows market expected to grow at a GAGR of 7%, and a CAGR growth rate of 5.9% for doors and 5.3% for facades), primarily due to substantial investment in infrastructure projects, as well as the demand for energy efficient products and the development of a more detailed regulatory framework for construction standards.

According to WDF Event Director Rebecca Lockwood: “With such a high demand to provide superior-quality and aesthetically-beautiful buildings in the GCC, the Windows, Doors & Facades event has become such an eagerly awaited event throughout the industry. WDF attracts key buyers from all sectors including architects, builders, developers, dealers, investors, distributors, interior designers, fabricators, and contractors, to mention a few. The positive outlook for the industry means that the exhibition floor will be buzzing with excitement as our exhibitors unveil some of the new ground-breaking and energy-saving equipment that has recently come to market.”

Commenting on their participation, Ammar H. Alul, General Manager, Schüco Middle East Windows & Façade Systems LLC said: “As one of the founding partners of the Windows, Doors & Facades event, we recognised the need for a focused show for our industry given its growth rate in the region. The quality and quantity of the visitors at the 2017 event was evident and very good for Schüco and we expect the 2018 edition to also generate a lot of interest.”

“The event is also an important opportunity for the industry to get together to discuss critical industry updates and to focus on the latest trends such as panoramic systems, price competitiveness, energy efficiency and sustainability, and the increased demand for quality along with value-for-money, to name a few,” Alul added.
