The cooperation with the OTI test laboratory has been discontinued with effect from August 2013. Nonetheless, the option of conducting tests for the CE marking in Turkey continues to be available for windows and facades. For this purpose, ift Rosenheim has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Test and Technology Centre Avrasya. Coordination is being done by the experts at the ift in Rosenheim who are then also available for testing in Turkey. The basic tests at Avrasya cover the testing of windows, facades and exterior doors regarding the air permeability, resistance to wind loads, water tightness and, in future, the mechanical durability and load-bearing capability of safety devices – other test facilities are in the planning stage. The tests are conducted by ift test engineers on-site and thus ensure independent testing conforming to CE requirements, on the basis of which the approved ift verifications are issued.

The manufacturers of windows, facades, doors and glass and building elements in Rosenheim also have a Turkish-speaking employee at their disposal for all services provided by ift Rosenheim. Tentatively, starting from September, an ift representative will be available once again in Turkey as our contact person.

As a testing, surveillance and certification body enjoying internal accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the verifications, test reports and certificates issued by ift Rosenheim are appreciated, approved and accepted worldwide – above all, this supports quality-conscious manufacturers of high-performance constructions who operate internationally or would like to do so.
