The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge made of steel and glass, completely illuminated with LED lightning, creating a unique light spectacle above Kura River in downtown Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi.
This 150 meter long bridge connects olt town Tbilisi with it’s new, modern district.
The pulsating lights are communicating the message in Morse code; the message says chemical elements from the Mendeleev’s periodic table that make up a human body. The idea of the Italian designer Michele De Lucchi was to broadcast the message which is “the anthem of life and piece among people and nations”.
Glasses for railings of this significant Tbilisi’s landmark are produced by Formator.
