For.El. continuous promoting the innovation in the composition of the insulating glass, sustaining and developing the performances of the double glazed panel; by now undisputed protagonist of the contemporary construction building that asserts its importance in terms of insulating efficiency, not only as extremely flexible architectural solution, but also as solution technologically advance for a tangible energetic saving.

For more than twenty years For.El. insulating glass production plants are the concrete witnesses of technological developments that makes them worldwide "Leaders of technological evolution".

Today, we confirm this philosophy introducing at the XVI° Vitrum edition our last automations studied for guaranteeing the best advantages in terms of competitiveness, divided in four principal thematic areas: in glass edging, in IG spacer application, in IG gas filling and in glass laminating.

In glass edging
: the glass edging, radically renewed in comparison to the already affirmed processes, allows to get distinguished advantages and good versatility, all integrated in a machine with unique characteristics.

These the principal strengths of the last version of the vertical grinder EM:

- fast production times, reduce to a half in comparison to standards,

- automatic detection of glass dimensions,

- vertical process both stand alone or on line abreast other machineries,

- curved and straight line shapes working,

- optimized squaring of the sheet and distinguished glass edge removal capacity,

- better edge finishing by choosing among arrissing, grinding and polishing.

In IG spacer application: following the progressive affirmation of the thermoplastic spacer frames, For.El. it is the only Italian company introducing the automatic applicator, that in the last series - Art. TBB – automatically applies the Warm Edge spacer with PIB butyl on line extrusion on the two sides of the spacer.

This technology, introduced in 2004 with the series TSS, has met an increasing commercial success, with numerous installations both at national and international level, especially in market places that have recognized at first the importance of insulating glass units with high thermal efficiency.

In IG gas filling: in energy saving the IG chamber gas filling is fundamental. Even in this process, For.El. has made important developments with regards to reliability and performances: the filling process of the air gap with gas takes place during coupling inside the press with series APG and APGS. The so called laminar filling process eliminates the drawback of the formation of turbulences inside the unit chamber without gas waste, getting a percentage of more than 95%, therefore optimal. The further technological improvement has brought to the possibility of gas filling big sizes IG units, equal to a jumbo size IG panel, highly requested in the commercial building industry, but not only.

In glass laminating: both for energy saving and for its mechanical characteristics, laminated glass is more and more the central character of modern glass companies. From this consideration and from the long experience in vertical cutting of laminated glass, the For.El. laminated glass production plants are the state-of-the-art plants in technology and devoted to a production of particularly complex glasses.

Many therefore the aspects that during the glass industry appointment of the year can be deepened (Vitrum, Milan, October 28-31, 2009); providing you more than thirty years experience and our leadership among the flat glass processing machinery manufacturers.

Certain to be able to offer you the most competitive solutions for a demanding market, we wait you in Milan.
