Bystronic glass wins prestigious award in China

In April this year, the Chinese Glass Association celebrated its 50th anniversary with a two-day event that was focused on furthering the technology and development of insulating glass machines.   500 guests were invited to the gala event in Hangzhou, where Bystronic glass was presented with an award for technological leadership within the field of insulating glass.Award for technological leadership“Our technologies have helped to make significant headway and further the advancement of insulating glass production standards across China,” Hans Ulrich Schick, Head of Bystronic glass China, commented with great pride.Rock Quan, Sales Manager for North China, presented TPS Technology to the guests, as the most modern and flexible system in the world for warm edge insulating glass production.Hans-Ulrich Schick received the awardChen Guoqing, vice president of the China Building Material Federation, wishes to vigorously expand the potential of the future glass market, calling upon those glass manufacturers who attended to improve the quality of insulating glasses in general.“Energy savings will become a major topic in China over the next few years”, Hans Ulrich Schick concluded, “and we will be able to make a significant contribution to this thanks to the quality and performance of our Bystronic glass range.”Event in Hangzhou
