A+W at the China Glass 2018

China Glass has long been Asia's largest glass fair and one of the largest industry events in the world. For the suppliers and technology partners of the flat glass industry, participation has become a matter of course.

The software house A+W has been present in China for years and once again participated in the fair this year in the ‘German Pavillon’. In keeping with the adage "We are where our customers are," 29 German manufacturers of glass engineering and software technology presented themselves at China Glass. A+W has a sales office in China and is discussing cooperation opportunities on the Chinese market with Chinese plant manufacturers.

"It was very interesting for us," explains Alfred Cortisse, A+W Director Global Key Accounts, "to welcome not only many Chinese interested parties but also a very active international trade audience, e.g. glass processors and insulating glass manufacturers from the Middle East and the American West Coast.

The A+W stand crew held intensive technical discussions with Chinese manufacturers in order to expand existing contacts and make new ones.

Dr. Klaus Mühlhans, Technical Key Account Director at A+W: "Large corporations and medium-sized producers in China have now recognized the importance of intelligent industry software. This is due to the increasing quality and higher complexity of Chinese products, which inevitably also leads to a greater variety of different glasses and glass combinations, which must be handled commercially and in terms of production technology".
