The acquisition strengthens VELUX’s U.S. presence in commercial daylighting.

VELUX America LLC, the U.S. sales company of the VELUX Group, has acquired Wasco Products Inc., one of America’s oldest and largest skylight manufacturers.

Wasco Products Inc, known as Wasco Skylights, has manufacturing facilities in Wells, Maine and Reno, Nevada and a network of independent sales representatives throughout the United States.

VELUX has manufacturing facilities in Greenwood, S.C. and a sales office in Fort Mill, S.C.Wasco’s broad product offering for the commercial market, manufacturing facilities, and strong nationwide sales network will provide synergies and opportunities for VELUX in the U.S, which has a strategy to strengthen its presence in the commercial market.
