Scheuten has developed a highly-transmissive, insulation glass for the ID Kas™, for 'Duijvenstijn Tomaten'

More than 11,000 m² of Isolide VenloW-energy ® glass has been incorporated into an innovative greenhouse concept.   On Wednesday, 11 September 2013, the first 'official' glass pane installation on the ID Kas™ for Duijvenstijn Tomaten took place.

The happy occasion was celebrated with the parties directly involved. The ID Kas™ has been developed by Technokas and Duijvenstijn Tomaten, in collaboration with Scheuten and Boal systems.

Scheuten has developed a range of highly-transmissive, insulation glass products, called ‘Isolide VenloW-energy® Glass’. These innovative products deliver significantly lower energy costs, higher productivity and efficiency, sustainability, and a safer workplace. All these characteristics are a perfect fit with the ID Kas™ optimized greenhouse concept .
