The building was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize 2012 and encompasses many innovative features including Privacy Smartglass.      Privacy Smartglass allows for easy and instant permutations of space, delivering privacy to carry out important meetings and presentations without distractions from onlookers and co-workers Privacy Smartglass was used as a partitioning system in numerous private meeting rooms and offices.  Lord Rothschild’s office also contains floor to ceiling Privacy Smartglass.  In its translucent state Smartglass maximises natural light and frames iconic panoramas, creating a sense that one is floating above the London cityscape.However when privacy is required, it is available on demand.
