New Plant Expansion Announcement

Aldora Aluminum and Glass Products, a manufacturer of custom fabricated aluminum and glass products, is pleased to announce the expansion of a new plant location in the Orlando area.

At 65,000 sf the plant will house a state of the art, double bay tempering line, a 96” x 220” laminating line complete with an autoclave for PVB and Sentry Glass, and an insulating line.Aldora will continue to produce liquid laminated products out of its Miramar and Charleston locations. The tempering furnace will be capable of producing soft coats (high performance, low-E glass) for laminating and insulating in order to meet the increasing energy demands of the marketplace. Additionally, it will have all of the glass fabrication equipment necessary to assemble high quality shower doors, table tops and other sophisticated edgework products.

The new location will distribute to Jacksonville, Melbourne, Tampa, the Orlando area and all points in between. The plant will hire approximately 50-75 employees to manage, manufacture and distribute its products to its Central Florida customer base. Plant opening is slated for January 1st, 2015.

Aldora currently has a satellite location in Altamonte Springs that offers stock glass products along with fabricated glass and aluminum products shipped from it Miramar location. “The success of our current Orlando area location has proven the need for a high quality, glass fabricator in the Orlando area. Our customers have asked us to expand products and services to meet their growing needs. This new location will allow us to do just that”, states Ricky Silverstein, President of Aldora and manager of its Miramar location.
