More performance, more flexibility, more output

Grenzebach presents new PLC and new stacker generationAt this year’s Glasstec the Grenzebach glass equipment specialists again live up to their reputation as high tech innovators.

In addition to their entire portfolio for float glass, thin glass and solar glass business, Grenzebach is presenting the latest standard setting product innovations. Particularly the new modular and PLC-based control concept and the new direct drive stacker generation should be the main focus of the trade and business visitors’ interest.

With the new modular PLC the Grenzebach specialists are ultimately saying good-bye to the well-known – and widely dreaded – “spaghetti code“. The result is impressive. The new PLC opens up entirely new possibilities for virtual system diagnostics and commissioning and at the same time reduces the time required for upkeep, maintenance and development significally.

The new directly driven Grenzebach stacker generation is very exciting as well. It offers a previously unavailable flexibility and performance when it comes to cycle time, maximum load, and plate size.

For Martin Sträb, Head of the Grenzebach Business Unit Glass, both are perfect examples for the „Quality and Output“ motto, which the Hamlar based specialists used as their concept for this year’s exhibition. „We want to show our visitors that Grenzebach equipment offers the most value for their money.“ And of growing importance in this context is the total package. Sträb is convinced that the glass equipment specialists are well positioned „With over 40 years experience in glass equipment engineering, innovative high tech solutions, worldwide manufacturing locations close to our customers, as well as after sales service around the clock, our equipment guarantees both to our customers, top quality and peak output rates“

At the trade show booth, the glass equipment specialists present their product portfolio for float glass, display glass, conventional photovoltaics, CPV, CSP and the inspection system markets. Here again the focus is on customer orientation and satisfaction. „We look forward to our visitors and want them to feel comfortable at our booth“. Accordingly, the booth is designed generously, with a wide range of information and ample space for intensive trade talks. Visitors will be able to enjoy a high tech catering experience. Keeping with the motto „Quality and Output“ a robot will serve wheat beer to customers fully automated – without wasting a single drop of the top quality Bavarian wheat beer. This experience alone is worth visiting the Grenzebach fair booth in hall 15/booth C42.
