Listers 34th Anniversary Bash!

Date: 17 September 2010

Listers 34th Anniversary Bash!Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent have just celebrated their 34th year in business with a bit of a do!  34 years in the window industry without phoenixing is something to be proud of and Listers certainly made the event memorable.

All of Listers staff, partners and children were invited to an afternoon and evening of events, entertainment, awards and prizes.  Some of the fun included a range of inflatable amusement games like a huge bouncy castle, a ten metre bungee run strength test, and a giant Scalextric race track. But what seems to have given the guests the most fun was being able to take on the Directors at Sumo Wrestling!

Phil Warren, Listers Sales Director, was one of the first to put on a large Sumo Costume and then go head to head with some of his team members. “I’m still aching now!” Said Phil, “It was enormous fun but boy was it competitive. It was a really great event and an opportunity for us all to let our hair down a little and have a really good laugh.”

Mark Warren, Listers Managing Director said that Listers have been enjoying a marked improvement in business this year with new customers and record sales despite the recession. “There’s no denying that it is still a tough market,” says Mark, “but the extra effort that our staff have put in this year has really paid off and we wanted to demonstrate our appreciation of all their hard work with a really special event.”

Later in the day Listers provided a full hot buffet, drinks, a chocolate fountain and for those still standing there was music and dancing. It just makes you wonder how they will top this event next year on their 35th Anniversary.
