The WICONA Experts' Day in Böblingen on 27.09.2017 met with great interest.

Around 160 architects had followed the invitation to "Motorworld" in Böblingen. This location, of course, was not chosen by chance, but it is a very successful symbiosis of high-tech ambience, technological progress and innovation. A perfect environment for those technology topics that WICONA presented in very informative lectures.

Florian Vogel, project consultant at WICONA, who spoke about DIN EN 14351-1 (product standard for windows and exterior doors), discussed the concepts and requirements contained in them.

Barrier-free planning, building and living with DIN 18040 was the focus of Jens Kronenberg, Dormakaba.

Ralf Difour of Flachglas answered the conclusion of the program with answers to the question: DIN 18008 - What changes in the glass dimension?

The relevance, quality and intensity of the topics motivated the large auditorium to animated discussion and to the specialist dialogue, which had already taken place in the breaks between the individual program items. The feedback from the participants was correspondingly positive, combined with the desire for a new edition of this event in the coming year.
