Rapidex® RHM3000 has a 90-minute burn rating, which is one of the most difficult ratings to achieve in the flush door industry.
With the addition of Rapidex® RHM3000, H.B. Fuller offers a family of six fire-rated component status adhesives. Rapidex® RHM3000 adhesive meets the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 10C standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies. Five of the six adhesives bear the Intertek's Warnock Hersey (WH) Mark, the building product industry's leading certification mark.
Rapidex® RHM3000 demonstrates the commitment of H.B. Fuller to listen to its customers and deliver innovative solutions to meet their needs. "Fire door manufacturers are held to high industry standards and they need to ensure the components that go into their doors meet those standards as well," said Jim Schone, market development manager for H.B. Fuller. "The 90-minute burn rating on Rapidex® RHM3000 provides confidence that the adhesive itself has passed a rigorous door fire safety performance target."
Rapidex® RHM3000 polyurethane reactive hot melt adhesive has high modulus and impact strength, along with excellent abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility. Due to the unique rheology of the Rapidex® RHM3000, the adhesive is uniformly metered when applied and can offer lower application rates.
