Grupo Vitro, Mexico's largest glass manufacturer, has assured that the volatility in gas prices for industrial use will not affect its operations.

To face the increase in gas prices, as well as buy coverage for 80% of the firm's gas consumption it will reduce costs and increase productivity. Vitro's executive director general, Federico Sada Gonz lez, has said repeatedly that industry must be able to deal with these fluctuations in energy prices, which the company has managed to do successfully.
