Leading industry fabricator, frameXpress has recently achieved new BSI industry accreditations. In line with recent expansion phases at the company, senior management felt it imperative to further improve standards within production and quality control departments to provide customers with greater reassurance.   The company achieved BSI Kitemark KM 505192 for doors and windows made from PVC-u extruded profile easily achieving the requirements in relation to safety, operation and strength. The enhanced security performance accreditation PAS 24:2012 was also achieved according to Secured By Design standards on all pvc-u doors.

Vince Shayler, Operations Manager worked through the rigorous testing and assessment procedures necessary to ensure that these additional national industry accreditations could be achieved.

Vince comments, “The assessment process to achieve the licenses involved systematically testing frameXpress products to ensure that all required industry levels could be met. Quality management systems were also evaluated with quality control and internal reporting systems painstakingly reviewed to ensure they would pass the exacting standards.

As a company we regularly monitor our systems and standards in an on-going programme of product testing to make sure manufacturing methods remain consistently high.”

Recently, Managing Director Mark Westbrook and Sales Manager Ian Davis were invited to attend a presentation event at the BSI Headquarters in Milton Keynes. Here they met key staff, including the UK Executive, who reinforced the strengths and confidence accredited certification affords. After a short theatre lecture Mr Frank Lee, Compliance and Risk Director with BSI made the official presentation. Mark Westbrook comments, “The BSI Kitemark is globally accepted as recognition of best industry practice and is a vital element that helps us to demonstrate our quality values to customers. These accreditations are critical to the continued success of this business as there can be no room for uncertainty when it comes to the standards we offer.”

The frameXpress team has always maintained a pro-active approach to product development, production and support services and will continue to develop the company in line with industry developments. The Kitemark accomplishment is the latest acknowledgement that the company is continuing to expand and diversify with a focused commitment to customer satisfaction.

Ian Davis comments, “I believe that any supplier can negotiate on product cost and turnaround, however frameXpress differentiates itself by monitoring and improving quickly as the market changes. Accreditation is recognition that we offer a world-class standard to customers in both the domestic and commercial markets. It substantiates our corporate position to existing and new customers.”

Mark Westbrook concludes, “We now provide added assurances in relation to the frameXpress portfolio. With the new Kitemark we offer complete product confidence through the credibility and reassurance that certification provides.” Framexpress is one of the fastest growing fabricators of pvc-u and aluminium products for the window, door and conservatory market.
