Fives will supply nine lehrs to Xinyi Group for float glass and solar glass production

Fives is contributing to this large-scale project by providing nine high-performance lehrs, one for float glass and eight for solar glass: Prium® Lehr, a float glass lehr with a maximum capacity of 1200 MT/day; Prium® Lehr PVGs, solar glass lehrs with a maximum capacity of 250 MT/day.

These lehrs, which feature Fives' latest technologies, will be started up one at a time in 2016.Fives and Xinyi Group have a long-term partnership in the float glass, solar glass and ultra-thin glass sectors.

Xinyi Group, one of China's top glass manufacturers, is building a major glass production plant in Malaysia as part of the Chinese government's “One belt and one road” strategic plan.
