As corporate position strengthens cutting edge makes new appointments

Cutting Edge is set to further establish its corporate position as a leading UK fabricator with the appointment of Steve Haslam as Operations Manager.A major restructuring and expansion programme has been initiated due to increased popularity of products in the Cutting Edge range.

The entire team is dedicated to provide only the highest standards for customers and it is expected that Steve Haslam will help to reinforce this as he begins to re-organise and streamline production methods.

Steve has over 20 years industry experience which will be used to structure the efficiency of the production floor and overseeing the general manufacturing elements of the company. His appointment emphasises the commitment of senior management to provide only the best for customers in terms of products and services.



Having worked for mainstream companies including Emplas and the Nova Group Steve developed a broad range of skills running production facilities as both Production Manager and Production Director.



With reliability and quality being synonymous with the Cutting Edge brandname Steve, as a new management member will play an instrumental role in modernising the facility to ensure that it is cost effective, efficient and can cope with increased capacity. His appointment further substantiates the corporate position and strengthens the company’s identity as a market leader.



Shirley Peake, Managing Director at Cutting Edge considers reliability, quality products and good customer relations are vital and contribute to the company’s success; as such she considers a strong management team is essential.

On his new appointment, Steve Haslam comments, “Cutting Edge has a recognised reputation for excellence which is founded on supplying quality products and is supported by a strong corporate ethos. In my role as Operations Manager I intend to ensure that manufacturing methods will be fully modernised and taken to the highest level with focus kept on quality. I am hoping to reinforce Cutting Edge in relation to product standards which for many customers are already recognised as superior.”
