Carl F Groupco-FIT for the Future

Date: 30 April 2013

Approaching three years after Carl F Groupco was formed, the company’s management team reports at the FIT Show on the success of the new organisation.

The combined force of two established hardware distributors put the company in a strengthened position offering one of the largest product portfolios in the industry.Commenting, Carl F Groupco Managing Director John Crittenden says:

“The merger was a challenging period but the motivation of our workforce, who have understood our vision and embraced change, has enabled us to move forward. We have combined the best of two organisations to produce our new brand.

“In these difficult times for the market, I am delighted to report that the distributor is not dead. We are offering value to our customers by enlarging our role. We are increasingly providing a one-stop-shop service where we fulfil all aspects of the order’s requirements.

“I am delighted to report growing demand for our service supplying complete systems, where we take full responsibility from specification through to packing and shipping. Our knowledge and buying power makes life easy for the customer and provides cost savings: the result is a true win, win situation.”

The new operation has achieved its objectives of maintaining a strong service focus, incorporating leading brand hardware and introducing own brand products to address the price driven sector of the market. As a result, Carl F Groupco has established a firm footing on its development path towards its goal of becoming a leading player in the UK hardware market.
