Carl F Petersen Ltd has celebrated twenty years supplying window and door fittings from its Corby distribution facility. Over the last two decades, Carl F has increased its range to offer over 10,000 products to the trade market.

The company also successfully launched Carl F direct - an online tools and accessory shop which operates as a sister company to the fittings supply operation.

Commenting, John Crittenden, who was appointed MD for Carl F Petersen Ltd a few months after its launch in 1989, said  "One of the most significant developments over the last two decades for the Carl F group has been acquisition by Sanistål in 2007. The £600 million organisation, which has a strong international presence, recognised the growth potential of Carl F. As a result, Carl F has benefited from the expertise and resource of the multi-national operation. But, as we assured our customers at the time of the acquisition, we have maintained Carl F’s brand identity which is based on combining product quality with high service levels."

Carl F’s Danish companies have been merged into Sanistål and all overseas trading companies, including Carl F Petersen Ltd, have become part of Carl F International. John Crittenden has been promoted to Managing Director of Carl F’s UK and Irish operations, including the d line hardware range.
