Following a successful year celebrating its twentieth anniversary supplying window and door hardware to the UK market, Carl F Petersen Ltd is moving forward under new ownership.

The holding company Tommico, with subsidiary Groupco, has recognised the strength of the business and, from October 30th 2009, became the new owners of Carl F Petersen Ltd.

The development results from Danish group Sanistaal selling certain non core operations, including Carl F Petersen Ltd. Commenting, Carl F’s Managing Director, John Crittenden said: “Both Groupco and Carl F are profitable organisations, neither company has made a loss in the last ten years.

Under the new ownership, the two businesses will combine forces to considerably strengthen our position in the industry. “Our success at providing high quality hardware products backed by excellent service has been recognised by Tommico and the investment in Carl F Petersen Ltd is set to move the company forward in its third decade of trading.”

Customers should continue to contact Carl F and Groupco at their existing centres of operation.
