Hazlemere’s roof lanterns can positively change the environment of any room as the super strong lightweight aluminium frame rafters create slim, elegant roof profiles with excellent thermal performance.
For larger spans each aluminium structure is reinforced internally in the rafters, meaning that unsightly “bolster bars” are not needed.
Hazlemere Commercial’s slim framed, fine line roof lanterns are lightweight, their superb design, utilising the highest quality materials and build quality, ensuring each roof lantern can easily to handle the worst the British weather can throw at it. Extreme weather and loads will quickly expose inferior systems.
Avoiding creating internal environments that are uncomfortably hot in the summer or too cold in the winter has been alleviated by the super performing glazing and seals of Hazlemere’s aluminium double glazed roof lantern roof light products.
Specially coated glass can be specified which works to reflect undesirable solar glare and reduces heat in conjunction with the amazing insulation qualities which help to keep rooms warmer during winter whilst minimising condensation.
The real advantage of such excellent thermal efficiency is it helps to keep heating bills down. The low “E” glass panes and solar control combine to reduce the amount of UV and heat that passes through each double glazed unit.
Hazlemere Commercial offer a wide choice of bespoke Roof Lanterns and Glass Roofs for all types of buildings, so these can be designed and specified to include either bevelled or flat external roofing caps to best fit in with the existing aesthetics of each building.
All Hazlemere Commercial’s aluminium products are available in hundreds of RAL colours to match and complement both the interior and exterior of any property. Extra ventilation can be achieved by adding manual or electric opening and closing roof vents, these can be automatically climate controlled by the room temperature with or without rain sensors.
Hazlemere Commercial manufactured & installed a 70 metre long double glazed aluminium sloping roof light (see image below) as part of their £2.4m contract to supply all the new windows and doors at Bideford College in Devon, which were part of a £44m new build project Morgan Sindall undertook for Devon County Council.
