Arch Aluminum & Glass has announced it has begun production of decorative silk-screened glass at its Orlando, FL glass fabrication facility. The company is manufacturing the new product in standard or custom patterns.

Silk-screened products provide designers endless architectural possibilities and also help control both solar heat gain and light transmission. According to Cliff Monroe, who has launched the new Orlando process and its new state-of-the-art equipment, "We are supplying standard silk-screened glass with white ceramic frit paint applied in either a dot (40% coverage), line (50% coverage), hole (60% coverage) or sandblast appearance (100% coverage) pattern. Custom silk-screened glass is being offered in almost any color or pattern. Possible applications are endless, and all these products can be ordered from any Arch branch."

All Arch silk-screened glass is either heat strengthened or fully tempered in order to prevent breakage due to thermal stress. Arch Orlando houses two of Arch's 14 North American tempering furnaces, enabling rapid lead-times for silk-screened glass products.

Arch Aluminum & Glass is an American-owned, family business, which services the glass, mirror, laminated, and architectural aluminum industries. Arch operates facilities in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Wisconsin.
