Furnace 52 at the Moravia plant in the Czech Republic will be repaired in 2023. Furnace specialist HORN Glass Industries AG has now received the order for this.

The Vetropack Group is one of the leading European manufacturers of glass packaging. It employs around 4,000 people in eight glass factories in Central and Eastern Europe.

As the general contractor, HORN is responsible for planning furnace refractories and steel, supplying the equipment, demolishing, constructing and commissioning of the plant.

Equipped with the latest technology from HORN in the areas of gas heating, electrical control and e-fusion power boosting, the furnace is expected to go into operation in November 2023.
