A specialist fabricator and respected brand in the industry will be one of the first to trial a recently launched innovation from hardware manufacturer Caldwell UK.

Based in Olney, Buckinghamshire, Roseview Windows fabricates the Rose Collection of uPVC windows – Charisma Rose, Heritage Rose and the award winning Ultimate Rose window.

The fabricator has been regularly buying in sash window spring balances and restrictors from Caldwell UK for more than 10 years; and will soon be offering Caldwell’s automated products too.

Willie Kerr, Managing Director of Roseview, says quality products and a second to none service are the driving factors behind the long-standing partnership.

He comments: “Attention to detail is at the core of our product range so it’s important to us that we partner with suppliers who are as passionate about their products as we are. Caldwell are a very forward thinking company with a hands-on approach to product development – they offer the best sash window balance on the market and have pioneered automated products in the UK.

“From day one, Caldwell have been upfront with us about costs and lead times and this transparency is not something every company offers. Their UK base is close to us and we know if we need them they will be there.”

Operating from a UK base in Coventry – but with its global headquarters in Rochester, New York – Caldwell is a world leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke hardware and offer a wide range of innovative solutions for the domestic and commercial markets.

The company is also leading the UK market when it comes to automated products and has launched two new automated systems – OmniDrive for casement windows and Ingenuity for sliding sash windows.

The company is looking to partner with fabricators to unlock new opportunities in the lucrative emerging home automation market; and Roseview will be one of the first of Caldwell’s UK customers to offer these products.

Tim Ferkin, Sales & Marketing Director at Caldwell comments: “We have had lots of positive feedback on our automated systems after showcasing prototypes of these products at trade shows around the world.

“Automation is set to hit the industry in a big way and we want to prepare our customers for rising demand for automated windows. Roseview is a true innovator in their field and we look forward to engaging with them more in the New Year.”
