Promac Group has said it expects September’s Glasstec to be one of the most important for new industry innovation.
With cutting-edge technologies on show from Forel, GoldGlass, Macotec, Mappi and SoftSolution among Promac’s glass processing supply partners attending this year’s event, its Managing Director, Joe Hague, said he expected Glasstec 2016 to drive forward significant efficiencies in glass processing and IGU technologies.
Joe explained: “We have seen some really great innovations come onto the market in the last couple of years, which have already gone a long way to redefining the glass processing sector, offering new and expanded capabilities alongside significant efficiencies.“As with any expo, it’s about looking to the future and seeing what’s coming not just around the corner but in five and 10 years’ time – those medium term opportunities which will generate sustained business growth.”
Held from the 20th to 23rd of September, Düsseldorf flagship products on show at this year’s global expo from Promac’s supply partners include Forel’s high-speed insulating glass production line.
Capable of producing a residential IGU every 20 seconds, features include coating removal (edge deletion), flexible spacer application, grid insertion/application, argon gas filling, and secondary hot-melt sealing.
Also being showcased by Forel on Stands A21 and A41, Hall 16, will be its Vertical Laminated Glass Cutting Line, which delivers a step change in factory layout design by processing cut to size laminate glass in the vertical axis reducing footprint whilst increasing output.
Mappi, another leading flat glass machinery manufacturer from the Promac ‘stable’ will profile its latest ATS EcoConvection Series glass tempering technology in Hall 16, Stand C39.Float glass cutting line manufacturer Macotec, will be in Hall 16, Stand B17.
Innovations on show include its new Master Shape 3.7FR automatic glass cutting table, the Strato Active automatic laminated glass cutting table, plus its automatic cutting lines.
Glass spraying technology specialist Goldglass will be showcasing its range of specialist products on Stand H73 in Hall 11. This includes the highly efficient and easy to use MRC 2350 CL, which uses automatic shape detection to deliver high quality paint finishes to glass. Suitable for use with organic and ceramic paints, it can also be used to paint composite doors.
Flat glass inspection systems leader SoftSolution will also showcase its range of vertical and horizontal line scanners in Hall 14, Stand F46.
